Displayed here are paintings, sculptures, and furnishings from the territory that tell the story of now-lost places where Valsesian artists such as Pier Francesco Gianoli, a leading figure of the late seventeenth century, once worked.
Following this is the d’Adda collection, from a noble and influential Milanese family present in Valsesia since the mid-sixteenth century. Portraits, landscapes, allegories, and still lifes once decorated their palace in Varallo, which still exists today.
