The ethnographic section of the Calderini Museum showcases a selection of ‘exotic’ objects that have arrived in Varallo since the museum’s foundation.
These acquisitions were made possible by individuals who, during their travels abroad and in constant contact with Pietro Calderini, collected various objects with their homeland museum in mind.
Today, you can admire a diverse array of items, including African and Oriental musical instruments, Chinese vases, and Indian terracotta dolls, taking visitors on a global journey through different cultures.
